With a simple yet elegant Design Available in 5 classic finishes, Plein Aire frames are Perfect For framing art panels, and 3/4" pre-stretched Canvas.

These frames have a solid Wood composition coated in gesso to ensure a smooth Surface. The 3" wide molding is enhanced by a raised and rounded top edge with an offset inner groove. Comes with Hanging hardware.

Our Gold Leaf Plein Aire Frames will have gilded lines intentionAlly visible to provide an authentic, Handmade look to the finish. THEY ARE NOT SCRATCHES. They have a vintage aspect in the grooves and the pattern varies from frame to frame. See the secondary images for a close up view of this effect.

DOES NOT INCLUDE GLASS, BACKING, OR OFFSET CLIPS. If you choose to frame a Canvas it will only accept up to 3/4" and you will need to purchase 1/4" offset clips separately. If you choose to buy glass and backing it will accept glass, one mat, and a 1/8" backing board.
