The handful of Nielsen Bainbridge frames that I purchased have firm backing (not cardboard).The seller: I ordered through Amazon from seller SendAFrame. All my frames arrived WELL packed, not a dent or crack. All arrived quickly. Note: At the same time I ordered additional frames from a different seller (not through Amazon or SendAFrame) and 7 Nielsen B. frames arrived with broken glass due to poor packing. So I give SendAFrame ***** (five stars) for packing and timely delivery.
