This is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, sturdy, not made in China. Classy. The plexiglass is a great addition, v. glass. It is what my watercolor prof always told us to use. The protective sheets over the plexiglass keep it protected. This is a wedding present and I couldn't be happier with the result! Pic might be a little blurry...The dimensions are great, too! Most art paper comes standard 9x12, so it was nice not to have to trim it.I typically prefer glass frames, but needed an odd size, so I went with this one. Hands down, the best packaging I have ever seen. Not a chance of any damage en route. The frame doesn't overpower the print and the gold isn't too gold. I'll definitely come back for other sizes when I need it.My drawing picture looks like professional artwork! Good quality modem style !I like the frame, but wish frames that size had actual glass instead of plexiglass.This frame was worth the money for making a special gift to a loved one.The product came as described in the catalog and ready to be used.For $60 I would think it’d be real wood, but that’s me, I might be off base. The metal is nice I suppose, just remember it can scratch. Put it in a protected place. Also it’s plexiglass, which can scratch too. Was nice to find a thin frame in the right size and I believe handmade? So that’s cool.The package was not wrapped very well at all but everything survived in great condition. Was also expecting it to be glass, but it ended up being plastic, which was also damaged in the corner.
